To the delight of animal lovers all over the world, Google Streetview has recently added a number of world famous zoos to its photographic catalogue of the globe. While some zoos were already open to Google Streetview technology, Google users can now explore zoos in Australia, Germany, Japan, China, and numerous international cities.

Perhaps most stunning is the look Google users can take into Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a Chinese animal preserve full of exotic and endangered animals, such as red pandas and golden monkeys. In addition, several of the zoos offer live feeds of their animals. The inclusion of these zoos follows Google Streetview’s recent mapping of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai.
